Peggy Webb, USA Today bestselling author, is a native Mississippian who also writes under the pen names, Elaine Hussey and Anna Michaels. This former adjunct instructor of writing at Mississippi State University has written almost 100 books in the genres of romance, women's fiction, romantic comedy, mystery, suspense and literary fiction.The late, great Pat Conroy called her work "astonishing," and critics call her one of the Southern literary greats. Webb is the winner of numerous awards, including the RT Pioneer Award. An avid musician, Peggy plays piano and sings in her church choir. She has also graced the stage of her local theater in such roles as The White Witch in "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" and M'Lynn in "Steel Magnolias."
