Made me feel pity for Fango, and go through the spectrum of feelings that were imposed on him.

This story has depth. Regrets are a fact of life, many unnecessary.

I got a little distracted while reading but the story was building toward GREAT then I hit that last page. It's a perfectly satisfying ending, but that last line on the page before immediately led me to believe Fango would not willingly escape his trap. I'm just not one of those folks satisfied by sudden regrets.
