Dan first started writing stories in elementary school, where he and a friend would skip lunch and recess once a month to eat in the library while hearing all about the new books on the shelves. His love for reading, as with visual art and music, has now extended into creating his own fiction. He is also a huge fan of podcasting, and all of his stories are available for free in audio. He works as a digital artist and lives in Washington state with his beautiful family of five. Learn more at www.DanDanTheArtMan.com

Not overly good or bad, story flows nicely. I was disappointed at the end when I learned why the traffic to the castle was down, the if the reason was correct, it should not have been unknown nor should it have completely stopped traffic.

This story took me to castle gates and a cave, both very well described. We are introduced, through very good descriptions, to a wife and husband who have a problem and her uncle who has the answer. I was very engrossed in the story, wanted to know more about the magic powder an its powers. Dan did a good job of hooking me. I felt I was left hanging though. The ending seemed a bit anticlimactic after such a good beginning and middle. I wanted more. Maybe another chapter? Good job, Dan.
