All Is In a Dream

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
This epic allegory is a story about a fellow who dies in his sleep, while having a dream that he is in a boat, on a journey to Heaven. Our character does not realize at most points of his dream that he actually is dying. As you READ my story, let your Mind drift with the Thought that Life, in itself, IS a Dream and all that you see and hear is only an extension of your OWN dying self. More

All is in a Dream by Nathan Charles Sollish
This book is an allegorical poem representing the character’s thoughts about religion and coming home to heaven at the end of his life. His thoughts flow in a lyrical, rhyming way as he explores different aspects of his life and journey. I’d recommend this story to anyone who likes abstract poetry, where you must look for deeper meanings within the phrases. The second part of the book is an autobiography of the author. Nathan Charles Sollish walks the reader through his life as a young boy, through the trials of the Vietnam War, and through his travels around the United States as a performing musician. Through the narrative, you can get a sense of what life was like for the author, and see some of the challenges and highlights he experienced along the way.
