This is a very good book, and an impressive debut novel from Clarissa Payne. It's very well written, the characters are believable and very well developed, and the narrative is compelling and plausible throughout. Perhaps most impressively, the author creates a very clear and strong sense of location in both London (which I know) and Iceland (which I don't). Highly recommended.
