About Gerard Johnston

Gerard Johnston writes short stories that examine human sexual relations. For this he faults neither his parents nor society as a whole. Gerry works in New York City and is married with two children and a dog. When not scribbling, he enjoys reading, playing basketball, and watching most any sport. He'll have a beer with you, too.

Oh damn I am speechless. I enjoy everything you write, I feel as if I am in the story so vivid are your descriptions. The thoughts and actions of the characters are so well presented that I want to apologize for eavesdropping. If you are not ever going to write again at least write Olivia and Griff's story. Please I am begging you do not leave it like this. Ten stars!

Mr Johnston - stop reading, playing basketball and watching sport. Start writing a *lot* more if you do it as well as this. Then we'll share a beer in celebration...

The vivid descriptions and natural dialogue in Bad People made me feel like I was there watching and listening to these characters. They all have a realistic feel to them.

The story itself kept me interested and entertained. I liked that the ending wasn't what I expected, and the tight writing kept it moving at a steady pace. An enjoyable read!
