About David Dwan

After taking quite a while, the muse has finally struck again. Having read through some of my completed short stories and looking through my notes for some others I discovered a few hidden gems. I had forgotten many of them and it has really sparked off my creativity once again. So with luck my next book will be a collection of short stories. It'll be some way off but I'm just glad to be back in the world of ghosts and ghouls once again.

This was the first book by David that I read. I know not many other people can say this, but I could relate to Jenny and her horrible depression. I love the way he can actually put you in the mind of the character. So even if you aren't an unhappy person you can almost create that feeling of dread through reading how she's feeling. It ended exactly the way I felt it should have. He actually gave some dignity to an otherwise psychotic character. Now I just need him to write more novels...

This was one hell of a good read! There were some disturbing parts but I couldn't put the book down, I had to see how it ended. The only detractor and I offer this as constructive criticism, the author did not proof read his work. There are commas and apostrophes thrown in at the oddest places, the wrong tense of words, misspellings and for some odd reason, miscellaneous nouns capitalized for no obvious reason. Please have someone edit this work, it will make this novel that much better. If you care enough to write it, care enough to edit it. If you can overlook the grammatical issues, this book is very worth the time.
