About Nachman Kataczinsky

Nachman Kataczinsky was born in the U.S.S.R. to Holocaust survivors, and grew up in Israel.

He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He also served as an infantry officer with the Israel Defense Forces.

In 1987 he moved to the U.S, obtaining citizenship through a program for internationally recognized unique expertise and set up his own consulting R&D company. At about the same time he earned a Ph.D. from California Coast University.

He's fluent in five languages and enjoys reading history and science fiction in all of them, especially if the subject is mid-twentieth century Europe.

A good premise, interesting situations, and very well-thought-out details of the issues involved when 21st and mid-20th technology meet. It would be much better if the author would show rather than tell. Worth the purchase, and I'll buy the next in the series when it comes out.
