About Nick Santora

After the first screenplay he ever wrote won "Best Screenplay of The Competition" at the New York International Independent Film Festival, Nick Santora was hired to write an episode for THE SOPRANOS. Soon afterward he decided to try screenwriting full time.

He was hired as a staff writer for the CBS drama THE GUARDIAN where he was promoted to Co-Producer in less than a year. From there, he went on to write/produce several TV shows including, but not limited to, LAW & ORDER, PRISON BREAK and BREAKOUT KINGS, a show for which he was co-creator/showrunner.

Nick has also forayed into unscripted television, having created and Executive Produced the hit reality show BEAUTY & THE GEEK.

Nick also enjoys writing feature films, having been a credited writer on the Lions Gate/Marvel feature THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE as well THE LONGSHOTS starring Ice Cube – a film that Nick also produced. A few months ago, his feature TIME & TEMPERATURE made the prestigious “Black List”. This film is being produced by Ivan Reitman and will be Nick’s directorial debut.

Nick is also a National Best Selling novelist with his novels SLIP & FALL and FIFTEEN DIGITS having been published all over the world, including Poland, Japan, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and England.

He delved into the world of children's literature with his chapter book entitled I WANT AN ALIEN FOR CHRISTMAS, a departure from his normal fare but a work of which he is quite proud.

Nick is currently working as a writer/Executive Producer of SCORPION, a show he created for CBS.
