Very well written and with a nice angle using synesthesia.

I can only agree with Deborah Hammond's (https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/scorpiowitch) comments. Ms Lawson wonderfully brings out the charm of the place. The village and neighbourhood are depicted in a way that you immediately feel at ease. The story could very well take place in your hometown.

An exciting and realistic mystery with a lovable main character that you got to like as soon as he enters the first scene. I would love to meet the chap in person, were the circumstances a bit less gruesome.

Awesome book! I loved the main character Scott Drayco. He is a complex character that leaves you wanting to know more about who is is. The people of the town are an intriguing cast of characters. I found myself wanting to find a hidden gem of a town and move there hoping to find the same sense of community. As well as the serenity in the views. Wonderful read. I highly recommend it. If you like murder mysteries this one will keep you on your toes.
