In John's book of Revelations 12:7 –12, the bible recollects one of the very crucial moments yet victorious episode in Heaven. John wrote that, "war broke out in heaven(when)Michael and his angels fought against the dragon(Satan). Whiles dragon and his angels also fought, but he could not prevail, and there was no place for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was thrown out – the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. Apparently Satan had wanted to take control of heaven through deception and force making other faithful but weak angels in heaven follow him. But when he realized that it's not going to go his wicked ways,he started a battle.
John continues that, "he was thrown to earth, and his angels with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Messiah(Christ) have now come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown out: the one who accuses them before God day and night. They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows he has a short time. (HCSB). This battle dis not finish there as Satan targeted his devious plan to prey on the children of God. Perhaps if he succeeds he will turn the hearts of man against their maker. This he started as early as creation of man. The conflict was severe, but Michael the Archangel who led the faithful and loyal angels to battle the devil emerged victorious. Satan and his angels were thrown to the earth. No longer does the accuser of our brethren” have access to the throne of heaven. As the victory is won at the unseen level, John is careful to record that the devil is conquered “by the blood of the Lamb” and by the testimony of Christian martyrs. The heavens rejoiced in Satan’s defeat, but the earth is warned that the devil descended with fury, knowing his time on earth is short. Who is Michael? When and where does this war in heaven break out? Whose loud voice in heaven do we hear? And why are the earth and sea warned of the Devil’s final days in power? The Encounter Series looks into a fantastic opportunity where the Lord direct us to get-out from the negative effects that battle has upon us and especially the church. We will understand the depression and desperation the devil is in now and how he wanted to use our weaknesses and limitations (that is crippling many churches) to mock the Lord. Satan’s only option available to him is to use us the children and followers of God to work his way through for some kind of recognition. The fact is without our realization and unconcerned actions,he is winning the battle on a gradual masterminded project. These six verses above and the Encounter with the Lord in a short period of time are shrouded in mystery, yet you will recognized a great deal about the angelic host and the ongoing battle between good and evil, the saved and unsaved as well as the church as a whole? War actually broke out in heaven, the one that could never ever be compared with every single war that has happened in this earth. John records in verse 7: “The dragon and his angels also fought …alone raises many more questions that mankind and the church needed to get answers to survive the battle. The 'Spiritual Chess', is a blend of true-life incidence o that spark our creative imaginations; and mirrors our relationship with things of the Spiritual realm, by allowing us to reflect upon our inner-life spiritually. Victory has already been taken for us by Jesus Christ's redemption on the Cross, but has the enemy given up.
