Review by: Ami Leshner on Aug. 6, 2014 :
Sola really is an interesting mix of sort of the innocence of children and yet their profound understanding of the world along with the idea that adults may gloss over the words of children in lieu of what they perceive to be logical reality.

Very good work and I hope for big things for Sola!

What a beautiful book!

What a compelling story, so delicately crafted. I loved the inner landscape of the heroine and especially the juxtaposition of the external world's alarmist and clinical response to it. Timothy Leahy must know these contradictions well.

The book's imagery is so lush and the narrative voice spot-on. I would love to know more about the book's genesis and referents.

A really lovely, satisfying, and super engaging read. Bravo!
