About Samuel Jones

Samuel L. Jones is a professional speaker, educator, author and trainer. He is the current owner of Life Changing Presentations, a consulting company that focuses on leadership development training, strategic planning, and customer service. He is the facilitator/trainer for the Mississippi Economic Council’s Leadership Mississippi program and the Dean of Student Affairs at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi.

Dr. Jones received a degree in Advertising and a Master’s degree in Public Relations, both from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in Educational Leadership. After his basketball career at USM, he continued his professional basketball career in Finland. He’s conducted training and seminars for organizations such as the University of Southern Mississippi’s Alumni Association, Navigator Credit Union, Mississippi Power, H.O.B.Y. (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership), Phi Theta Kappa International, Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Mississippi Department of Education to name a few. He’s a member of the National Speakers Association and was inducted into the University of Southern Mississippi’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2013.

Dr. Jones is married to the former Sarah Clark of Richton, MS. He is also an ordained Minister, and he serves as the Superintendent for the Sunday school at Peace and Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Richton, MS.
