Lea Tassie grew up in the Peace River district of northern BC. Due to six months of winter and two months poor sledding, she started reading books as soon as she could hang on to one. She has traveled and worked in many places, which may explain why she can’t stick to one genre as an author. Her books include humor (about cats), romantic suspense, mainstream and lately, speculative fiction. When she discovered the temperate rainforest stretching along 1200 miles of the Pacific Coast, from Oregon to Alaska, she quit traveling and settled in for good.

This is another clever story in the life of Holly and Ben and their adorable family of furry friends, who are slowly taking over the house. Reading the 'Cat' stories by Lea Tassie always makes me want to be part of the family or at least a close neighbor, like Maggie who has her own growing family of kitties. Such fun! I never want it to end and do hope this author will write another adventure featuring all the cats!
