About Lisa Shea

I love writing in a variety of genres. I currently have over 300 books published in all lengths from full 500+ page novels down to short stories. I love writing series. Some are with unconnected characters, like the 14 full-length medieval novels with a sword being passed from heroine to heroine. Some have connected characters, like the 31 mini-mysteries featuring a detective in Salem, Massachusetts. All of my books are written "clean" with no explicit intimacy, no harsh language, and no explicit violence. All are suitable for teens and up.

Very rare kind of writing style. Wish more kind of such stories exists in smashwords in this way. I like the stories better where the feeling of the characters are explained without much of jealously and ex lover (or previous experiences) kind of complications explained. Very less authors were able to write story lines in that way. And appreciate the author whole heatedly for that.

If you start to read this, you well definitely enjoy it. Excellent work from the author. It is kind of slow burner.

I'm not really into romance, but love medieval novels. This was a good story, well told and well written.

Liked it. The modalities of the selection of the groom were hilarious. Which is why I kind of preferred the first part of the book. Both sisters are sharp and strong-willed as we like.
My only complain would be that who Kay will end up with is just made to obvious...
Spoilt a bit of the wonderful story for me there.
Anyway please do give it a try !
