I am a Maine girl who grew up, went to school, worked, married, raised a son and have now retired into writing and painting all in this same amazing state. Generations before me, Edmund Littlefield settled Wells in the early 1600s, so my roots are deep.
I started writing this book several decades ago. I wrote it, put it away, started it up again to then let it shimmer awhile. In this phase of my life, I've launched it into the world. I'm pleased that you have found it.
I believe that we all have a story somewhere inside us and if we listen hard, it will begin to sing.
Have fun as mine kicks around in your brain and when you are ready, let me know what you think.

Captivating mystery and romance written to draw the reader into the magic of the journey. I loved the flow of the story line which kept my interest from the beginning to the end.

This is a special book full of twists, turns, mystery, drama and young love. It's listed as young adult, but I found that I was involved with the story in spite of being an older reader. Sherry has a connection and understanding of time travel and unexplained realms and takes us along with her on a thrilling ride. I also loved the connection to coastal Maine and the historic details. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed disappearing into the fantasy of this book! The story was well grounded In its Kennebunkport, Maine setting. The stones provided a good vehicle for time travel, absorbing us into Julie's discoveries. A riveting read!

I was captivated from the beginning by the plot twists and familiar descriptions of the nearby southern Maine coast. This read is aimed at 13 year old female readers who like mystery, romance, time travel and who are open to metaphysical possibilities. (I guess I must still fit that description because I truly enjoyed it!) I can see this being part of a series as the heroine is enjoyable and driven to solve mysteries.

Thoroughly enjoyable read. The heroine of the story is a well drawn 13 year old who travels into another age and time. A nice balance of her feelings simultaneously in both worlds as she tries to solve a mystery and deal with romance that is new but, somehow, familiar to her. The Maine coast is beautifully and accurately portrayed as the rich setting for this suspenseful drama. Hopefully, Ms.Dec will continue to provide her readers with such fare.
