About Paul Telegdi

BIO: Nearing retirement, I now have more time to devote to writing (and if I don’t, I squeeze the day until there is a space/time to crawl into). Over the past 15 years, I have worked on 15 books, three of which (of the Dreamcast series) are self-published.
My website, http://www.PaulTelegdi.ca gives a full account of my life and accomplishments, which I shall not repeat here.
The thumbnail version: I was born in Hungary; when young immigrated to Canada with my family, attended University of Waterloo, Ontario, where I met my wife. Spent years in West Germany where my wife was studying music while I was learning German. Returning to Canada, we ended up on a farm in Ontario with pets. Long-time married, I boast of three sons with talent and personality.
Presently I am office manager of my wife’s private practice of psychology. I like kayaking and windsurfing. I belong to a number of writers’ groups, and often choose writing over sleeping. eBooks are an exciting new chapter in my life and I’m looking forward to the wider exposure.
My motto: Want a better life? Then write it!

One of my favorite childhood memories is curling up with a book and reading it straight through. Sadly, adult life does not often allow this, and certainly not on a weeknight. Even so, once I started reading 15 Stones I just kept going until I'd devoured the whole thing in one sitting.

Even though you know Chaiko will find his way through the challenges before him, the author has a knack for making you want to know how things turn out. Often Chaiko succeeds by thinking ahead, yet there are times when he's grasping at straws and knows it, and in those moments of desperation he makes inspired choices. In this installment the author begins to hint at wellsprings for that inspiration, hidden just beyond perception.

Perhaps it will inspire you to pick up 16 Stones next.

Good job on another great story that continued from 14 Stones. I enjoyed the leadership principles manifested and positive “won't give up” attitude that led to successful outcomes. Also how you used 3 dimensional solutions to “worldly” traditional 2 dimensional challenges faced by Chaiko. How he worked in the context of the group and influenced the Clan and others to obtain positive results and believing action. An encouraging and again entertaining read!

I have read and reviewed books by this author before. The only comment I can make is that I only have to see his name and I know I am in for a real treat. One of the best authors on Smashwords
