I had many stop and starts while reading this story. Mainly because I could not like any of the characters and I saw the eventual outcone coming. The story deals with some very unattractive traits of women of any color but especially black women. Yes we still see light as right and value what is between our legs more than what is between our ears and have no issue making enemies of other women over men. But it was so glaringly depicted that I could only handle small doses at a time, I am not sure if that is a god or bad thing but I have to give stars for making me think.
