About William V. McDonald

Dr. William V. McDonald is president of New Life Teaching Center, New Life Ministries, Inc. Based in Austin, TX, the organization is dedicated to bible research and education. He is an Associate Professor in the graduate School of Theology and Mission at Oral Roberts University since 2002 – teaching Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures courses. Dr. McDonald has over 30 years of experience in educational ministry teachings.

Dr. McDonald received a Ph.D. in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He holds Master of Divinity (1991), and Master of Arts in Biblical Literature degrees (1992) from Oral Roberts University, and a Masters degree in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas at Austin (1999).

Dr. McDonald hosts a national weekly television show, "On Wings of Truth," which airs on Gods Learning Channel (GLC) cable network. Over the past 30 years, he has taught and hosted numerous television outreach programs including Truth Ministries in Peoria, IL and The Quest in Austin, TX. He hosted and taught two television programs produced by NLM Foundation for Depression and Anxiety, entitled "Overcoming Depression, Anxiety and Worry" and "Face To Face," a biblical study to understand human behavior.

In addition to "A Hebrew Text in Greek Dress," he is the author of "You Are Free to Worry No More." He has written a number of articles published by Yavo Digest in Austin, TX. and Not Forsaking the Assembling (NFTA).

Dr. McDonald was a member of the Board of Directors of the American Forum for Jewish-Christian Cooperation where he served as National Director of Race Relations (1987-1994).
