To everyone who has been so generous in reading the stories, donating to the requested charities and donating by purchasing the second book, I am so grateful. We have been able, in addition to the amount below been able to donate to the school over one thousand dollars. Thank you to everyone who has allowed us to turn a negative into a positive and see the results first hand, every book reader is amazing, every writer is phenomenal and everyone who has stopped to make a comment or write a review, you have touched my heart in a way that I forgot was possible. I hope all you read or write takes you to the place you want to go and that you can see the characters and destinations with a warmth and clarity that only the written word can bring.
We would like to thank all of those who have downloaded or passed on information about the Sanctuary Series books. We have already forwarded one hundred fifty dollars in relation to the second book in the series to our chosen school and are prepared to forward two additional checks in February, one for the school's chosen use and one for an academic program we chose. Thank you so much and please keep passing on the books. The charities are good and we are so hoping that our message may inspire authors who are widely respected and published to consider doing something similar, even if it is only with a small percentage of their proceeds. Thank you again so much.
Please note that our adult writer and editor has broken out and is producing a new adult series under the pseudonym L. Law which those who were involved in the Sanctuary Series, due to their age will not be involved in producing. We thank you for your support and if you are over the age of eighteen, like intrigue, passion, erotic romance and suspense, check it out. The book is available for pre-order at a reduced price but will go to the higher sale price after its release date.
Writing for me was born out of the necessity for some peace and relief during a draining and guilt ridden time in my life. My three wonderful children and husband underwent the difficult ordeal of uprooting our lives to care for my parents who were each dying of cancer.
Drastically altering our lives to ensure that the wonderful people who cared for me during childhood and were giving and loving grandparents to their only grandchildren had their family living with them and caring for their daily needs during the three years of their waning lives when cancer ensured they could not take care of themselves, was both rewarding and heart wrenching. The guilt of drastically changing the lives of my children and impairing their freedom led to many a sleepless night and the birth of this novel.
Despite our trials, as we looked around us, we realized for everything we felt, it is nothing compared to parents who are dealing with young children who fight the deadly disease and the siblings who struggle with guilt as they enjoy pleasures that their brother and sister are sometimes unable to participate in because of their long hospital stays.
Grateful for the blessings that we have and aware of the trials and tribulations of so many families struggling when cancer strikes, the Sanctuary series is dedicated to them. I hope that in some small way it shows that even when times look bad, creative ways of dealing with it can sometimes emerge.
Hope your family is well and happy reading.
Please note that each book in the Sanctuary series has a note to the reader requesting that if they enjoyed the book that they consider donating to a local charity and pass the book along.
Also note that the second book is being priced, but that the net proceeds from same will donated by the author to a school in the author's area. Since the school has children under the age of majority, I am not listing same and asking for donations to be sent directly to them because I feel it would be inappropriate. Also the reader can download the book to the smashwords library for free and donate to a school of their choosing
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

I had the privilege of a pre-read and to give input on the choices of covers. If you are a fan on these stories, this author, or the author’s cause, write to them at SanctuaryBook@outlook.com. They are very approachable and write back. The stories and the request behind each one holds a great deal of significance to the author. A sneak peek into some avenues that are to come and considerations that did not make it into the books was quite interesting.
My heart went out to the characters of Mia and Andrew as they struggled to travel separate desolate roads brokenhearted and without their necessary other half. I couldn’t put the book down as Mia and Andrew fight for the strength to forge an existence while mistaken beliefs, manipulations and fear lead them both on a collision course with their darkest abyss yet. You will love how this Mia, strong in so many ways and living a life, if she had her memories, she would have never chosen, is vulnerable to her most feared enemy on this plane who manipulates her old soul nature towards a choice that will tie her to him and the darkness for all eternity. As her separate story moves forward, a brokenhearted Andrew struggles to survive without Mia to help heal the children of a loss which he himself cannot accept. The newest revelations and rising enemies threaten an already devastated Sanctuary community while fear and mistaken beliefs lead Andrew on a road that could send him into his most devastating free fall into the darkness yet.
I strongly recommend the book to all those who love romance, intrigue and those who have followed these two amazing characters. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and that you strongly consider the author’s charitable plea at the end. You may also consider letting them know if you enjoyed the series. I know the author has finished the final encounter, but is editing and making some changes, but if they hold to what they have so far, it reveals the answers as to what holds them, who they truly are and their fates. I can’t wait to see how it all ends. Happy reading.
