About Naaju Rorrete

I live somewhere in the Northeastern United States and write gay fiction, because there are passions that don't fit in any closet. For the record, I must disclose that I shave every day before putting on the makeup. Just in case, we meet, and you notice the stubble under it.

I don't think it's possible to give a proper review without reading the entire book but really, even after struggling through this one I still have the same opinion as I had after the first seven pages: this is a painful read.
The dialogue is stilted and unnatural and as for being a romance novel there is little real romance, in fact, this book is quite far-fetched, and not in a good way. Two men sharing a bed as a challenge, one of them gay, the other confused, not to mention half of one guy's house just given to the other by the guy's mother and sister...
And also, what kind of adult romance novel has the words "put your thing in me"? Please, edit.

Judging by the other reviews there's a decent plot in here somewhere, only I didn't last long enough to encounter it. The dialogue felt so wooden and unnatural that I couldn't stay interested and gave up less than half a dozen pages in. The way the characters spoke honestly had that stiff, awkward quality that one encounters in mediocre translations of foreign language stories. Sometimes such things can be overlooked; unfortunately, for me this wasn't one of those times.

Found it very romantic even being a straight woman.
