Review by: Ashley 🌟Closet of Free Samples🌟 on Oct. 12, 2015 :
I don't read many books, but No Grits No Glory was a good read that kept my interest from the beginning. The book is 431 pages in length and I got my copy in the online/kindle version. Without trying to give the book away, basically you get introduced to Brianna McNeil and hear the voices of the dead roaming in Savannah, Georgia. Brianna McNeil is also a Bostom transplant who begins to work in a funeral home; which really just adds to the story. At first she just wants to do her job respectfully applying makeup on the dead, but over time she learns she has the ability to hear ghost voices. She has to be careful though as previously she was placed in a psych ward for such things. You will also learn of her love interest, Steven. Does Brianna's landlord have anything to do with these ghosts? Will she be able to help Steven make amends with his family? These are just a few questions to keep in mind when reading the book.

I don't want to give the book away though and want to encourage you to check it out and read it for yourself, but the book is definitely one you will not be able to put down once you stop! Ultimately this book is about coming to terms with who you are. It's a great fantasy, ghost type story with a bit of romance mixed in. As someone who is into the paranormal and loves romance - this was a great combination of the two.
