Letters of Wars

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
In this eBook are actual war letters written from World War I and World War II from one family that were cherished for over 90 years. Two wars but the theme was the same, these boys just wanted to come home. I hope you enjoy reading these letters as much as I did when I typed them. I kept the words and spelling exactly as they were written. Photos, V-Mail, postcards and more are included. More

I have recently read Jeanette Gribble's eBook, "Letters of Wars." Wow, after looking at the interesting pictures and especially a photo of a "victory" letter, Jeanette and her husband expended tremendous patience while deciphering writings of 70+ years ago. She also did an outstanding job of transferring personal feelings of letter writers as this reader easily "experienced the moment." I highly recommend this eBook to anyone interested in sampling the soul of America during World Wars I and II.

To Jeanette and "hubby," thanks for sharing these wonderful letters for all to appreciate. I think you accomplished your goal quite nicely.
