I am now at 50. living in HK for 20yrs. Bought many Books on "learning Chinese" over the years. After trying few days, did not get the interest to go thru those books again.

Surprisingly, this is the 1st book I went thru & stuck with it. Hope people will agree with me, at my age learning (including writing) 5 characters in 2 days is damn good.

Good to see he is kind enough to let us try for free.
I am wiling to buy similar books from the writer any time. His way of teaching is way better than those I tried b4.

Very useable, even for an over-forty, first time learner of a foreign language. Makes the whole process of learning a lot more enjoyable.
