At a young age Benjamin D. Baker developed a fascination with stories. He would often be found up at late hours of the night reading under his covers with a flashlight. Many of his early stories were homework assignments for elementary school with a plot that typically revolved around food or eating.
After graduating highschool he served a full time mission for the LDS church in the countries of El Salvador and Belize. These exotic adventures helped fuel his creative fire and began to grow a desire to make a living as a full time writer.
He attended college at Southern Utah University where he met his wife Madeline in an English class. He has since graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree in Spanish and hopes to make enough writing that he doesn’t need to go back and get a “real” degree.
He is temporarily living in Poitiers France writing full time while his wife is participating in a study abroad program, her blog can be found here: https://tensecondsofcourage.wordpress.com/
