Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
My favorite recipes made gluten free. I grew up with snickerdoodles, molasses crinkles and oatmeal cookies as treats, so when I developed gluten intolerance I set out to recreate them. I succeeded and then some, non-GF folk can't tell the difference between the original and gluten-free versions. More

About Jean Crawford Evans

I am a library assistant who lives in the wilds of North Idaho with my hubby and 3 spoiled rotten kitties. I am a fantastic cook who enjoys good movies, the great outdoors and dressing up like a cowgirl and pretending I'm Annie Oakley. I have been a fat/size activist for a number of years now, ever since I got off the diet roller coaster and found that you don't have to be a size 2 to have a wonderful life. I grew up a Navy Brat and when I came back to my place of birth to go to college, I discovered I love living in one place and I've been here ever since.

A few years back I developed gluten intolerance, thanks to another autoimmune disorder I have (Graves' Disease) and life has been very interesting since, esp since my husband has no issues. So the search was on to make our favorite recipes gluten free for me and still yummy for him.

Have known Jean for years and know she is a fabulous cook - which I am not. BUT I am gluten free. She's offering simple, easy recipes here for some of my favorites. Am looking forward to some special meals this winter, things I've been missing and can now make. Thanks Jean!
