Kyte

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
My name is Danny and this is my story of how I came to live with Marj The Magnificent and make friends with a stranger living in the woods called Kyte. It's also the story of how I survived the Battle On the Hill and The Trouble Brothers, with top tips on kite flying and how not to make a banana cake. There's something for everybody but especially children who like chapter books. More

Review by: Janette Meulen on Oct. 14, 2014 :
A touching story told with sensitivity and humour. I thoroughly enjoyed the character, Marj, whose witty one-liners and quick come-backs make for very entertaining reading for adults as well as children. I HAD to keep reading to the very end (despite it being way past my bedtime) to find out if my predictions were correct. Fortunately, the story ends quite differently to how I'd expected...(and I confess, Andrew's conclusion is far more plausible and therefore, more satisfying than my 'fairy tale' ending would have been!).
It's definitely worth buying "Kyte" because you'll want to read this story again and again.
Congratulations Andrew...I hope you're already working on your next story!
