Interesting and worth reading. Possibly a bit "same -ish" to many others in this Genre and available on Smashwords. A female "detective", with history and issues, a parent in the police of "higher ups".... I am not saying this book meets these criteria but many do....

This is a fun, well written "Cozy" mystery. The characters were well realized and the setting was believable. I do have some issues with the way the CIA gets involved, but it didn't interfere with my enjoyment of the story.

Many of the situations seemed "over the top" but that's not unusual (or necessarily unwelcome) in a cozy mystery. If you're looking for a fact-based CIA thriller, this may not be the book you're looking for. But it did make for a good read for a few afternoons.
