Thanks to Stoyan T. Stoyanov and Smashwords I got this book for free. Incredibly amazing story with fresh ideas.
Seventeen years old Bars and some other boys are sent out of the Fortress to the Earth during the Feeding Season. The more the day passes the more hopeless the life on the Earth became. They find out that what they had been told and taught are not completely true. Finally finding the way to come back to the Fortress and to claim himself as a hero, Bars is excited. But, everything is never as it seemed.
I enjoyed the flow of the story and kept guessing what would happen next, would he make it or not. However, I couldn’t really feel the tense during the fights or when the characters are arguing. And I think I need more clues about the characters physical appearance. But, overall, it’s OK.
If this book’s a part of a series, I’m looking forward to enjoying the next one.
If you are the fans of YA sci fi, this book is for you. And if you like The Maze Runner, you’ll love this book.
