Reviews

Review by: L.K. Scott on June 05, 2015 :
If only I had this kind of advice when I was a tween. Rosa offers straightforward tips for getting through some of the roughest years of childhood from relationships to self-image. There are activities that are quite effective. As an adult now, I read her words and even got teary eyed. She does an excellent job relating her own personal stories with the reader. If I were a parent, I would read this to my children long before they were old enough to read the words on the page for themselves. Rosa confronts the insecurities that haunt our memories into adulthood and guides us through lessons of tolerance and most importantly, forgiveness.
