I was very impressed with the quality of this novel. Super characters and a complex plot contributed to my overall enjoyment of this story. I am looking forward to a sequel.

It's pretty good. It's free, which for the quality of the story itself is pretty amazing. Once I got in about 50 pages I couldn't put it down.

The grammar is horrible throughout the entire book, but it seems to suffer the most through the last few chapters. It got so bad at some points that I had to re-read full paragraphs to try to decipher what was going on.

What is great about this book was that it was very long and had a lot of subplots, but it doesn't feel like it's dragging on and it switches between plots seamlessly. It keeps you guessing - just when you think something is going to happen one way it takes you in a completely different direction. It is quite a refreshing read.

There are a lot of positive things to say about this book but if i listed them all this review would be two pages long and would end up summarizing the whole story.

I do hope to see a sequel and I'd be glad to pay money for it.

This book was well written, action packed. Couldn't put it down. Started reading it again. Can't wait for sequel. I know Katie is very busy with her baby, family, and theater, but hopefully is working on book 2 in her spare time!! Kutos!!

Really enjoyed the writing, plot, story telling, characters, and pace. The story developed at a realistic pace, with the characters behaving in ways that made you believe in their actions and responses and conversation. I hope Daniels writes more about these characters (and not just about the two main protagonists as the secondary characters are also interesting and fleshed-out). Thank goodness for good writing and story telling!

I still say that some of the free books on smashwords are by some of the best new authors out there. This is absolutely one of those books. You can read about the book in different places, but I just want to say that Ms. Daniels is on eof those great new authors that has been added to my "purchase as soon as something comes out!" list!

Deadville was a really great read. Vampire and other paranormal fiction being my favorite genre, Deadville certainly didn't disappoint. My minor complaint comes as a wish that Ms. Daniels had more thoroughly developed some of the characters that she introduced, like Jackson, Ezra and Kendra. I also had some difficulty with Kendra being left alone in a hut for her first change, which doesn't ring true to the expected pack mentality of weres.
Other than these, Deadville was action-packed from beginning to end and hints at the possibility of juicy sequels...
Well done, Ms. Daniels. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

This is not usually my genre but it is so full of fun, fear and fangs that I read it over the weekend. Where is the next installment of Will, Kat and their terroriffic adventures?
