A very real, interesting story about two complicated, stubborn men. I loved it and I loved the author’s style – it was smooth and beautiful, I couldn’t put the book away. I can’t say that something really big happens here, but it’s exactly what made me unable to look away, because the story captivates and just doesn’t let go.

I fell in love with Blue right away. Unusual name, beautiful physical appearance and brilliant mind. He was so genuine, so patient and caring. He didn’t have a high self-esteem, but he did his best in awkward situations – he was funny, sarcastic at times, easy going. Even the coldest person would love him, it’s impossible not to.

Rhys is so closed off that I couldn’t understand him at first. His mood kept changing, but even though he was an asshole sometimes, I loved him – he’s a tragic, sad character who finally experienced love. I forgave him for his little slips, because I believed him when he said that he simply didn’t know better. He doesn’t understand how normal people are supposed to act, how the relationship works. But Blue is there, with him – he can teach him. I’m sure they’ll have quarrels, but probably they will stay together.

This book isn’t dark and it doesn’t feature insufferable assholes. Yes, there were moments when Rhys was hurtful and selfish, but honestly, I expected much worse. Though if it would have been worse, Blue would have left for good – he’s not the person who will put up with somebody’s shit.

It was a wonderful, pleasant ride - the only bad thing I can say is that in my opinion, the book is too expensive – it’s too short for a price like that. But I chose to buy it and I’m glad I did. I’m satisfied and I will read it again.
