I loved the book! John's account of his college train hopping days was very entertaining and quite unique. He paints a vivid picture of both his thrill-seeking side and his methodical "engineer" side with the detailed planning of his rides. As John says at the end, hopping trains is probably not something that could be done today with all the security measures in place, so it truly is a unique story.

John Puccioni is a first-rate story teller. Adventure stories are always more captivating when they are true-life accounts. This book makes me wish I had the cojones, in my younger days, to embark upon similar hijinks. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening's entertainment!

This is a thoroughly enjoyable read. The conversational style makes you feel like you are sitting at the pub and drinking a beer as the author and his mates recount their train riding (mis)adventures. My regret is that I didn't participate in their journies with them.
