An engaging set of poems that makes you stop, in pause, think, and want to re-read in order to fully comprehend the emotions behind the words. Simply beautiful. Definitely one to keep.

spare and honest

I believe this young poet has much potential, for the way she puts words together is spare and powerful. I did not like every poem in this collection, but some stood out and had a great impact on me, made me think, made me feel. There is remarkable honesty in the poet's pen. The way she uses words is creative and caught me often by surprise. I also felt some universal forces at work, for I felt reassured about certain situations in my life which I have been confused about; she gave me clarity.
