I put this on my kindle years ago, and I have read it and re-read these poems several times. It's fascinating to me that this obscure book has meant so much to me. It really hits a nerve because I feel like some of these are my own memories.

I liked these poems because they are about sailors. So many poems I just can't understand, but these were cool because it was like being there in boot camp, on the ship, in foreign ports. There's a lot of romance and mystery in these poems.
