During a vacation cruise, Soleil accepts a Greek Adonis' marriage proposal. True romance has finally found her and life is good. Fulfilling her deepest wish, her divorced parents announce plans to remarry each other in an elaborate double wedding!
When Soleil suddenly finds herself unengaged, she's understandably upset. Then relief sinks in. Accepting a stranger's proposal? What had she been thinking?
But this personal tragedy might give her unpredictable parents yet another excuse not to get remarried. No, she's had enough of two Christmases and two everythings! Soleil devises a plan: all she needs is a man willing to pretend he wants to marry her until the wedding ceremony gets underway.
What could possibly go wrong with this scheme?

"The Wedding Scheme" by JT Therrien is delightful romance. On a vacation holiday Soleil ignores her best friend's advice on flirtation but, ironically, she becomes engaged to Kostas, a Greek playboy. The next surprise occurs when Kostas breaks the engagement. The plot to cover-up this jilted engagement is outlandishly amusing and, yet, believable because of the well developed characters. The novel can be a warm, "feel - good" story or the reader might discover that it has a philosophical depth. I highly recommend this book. With witty dialogue and humorous events, this novel would make a great movie.
