About Jacquelyn Smith

Jacquelyn Smith is a Canadian author from the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario, where apologies are a regular part of most social interactions, and the second ‘T’ in ‘Toronto’ is definitely silent. (Sorry.)

Jacquelyn writes adventures in both fantasy and crime, including the World of Lasniniar epic fantasy series (published under her own name), and the Kira Brightwell mystery series (originally published under the pen name Kat Irwin). Her fantasy short stories “The Unclean” and “The God’s Eye” have won back-to-back awards from Writers’ Journal, and both stories have appeared in Writers’ Journal magazine.
