Very well written and thought out. The story moves along nicely, just the right amount of words to tell the story as it develops. Plot is very plausible.

I enjoyed the authors vision of religion and afterlife. It brings several concepts together very well.

Looks like the next book in the series (and other works by the author) are only available at Amazon. This just might make me break my Amazon ebook embargo to go purchase there (though it would be great if you published other works at Smashwords as well.

Absolutely loved this book, so glad it's part of a series. Give it a go, you won't regret it. It's the best fantasy book I've read in a long time. Can't wait to read the next one.
