I found this a very powerful book very honest in the portrayal of life and love on the B.C. coast in the counter-cultural times of the 1970's.

This book captures in a lyrical way some of the joys and the angst of the back-to-the-land movement of the '60s and '70s. A famous song of the time urged us to "get back to garden..." Some did, and found paradise for a while...but the same old snake waiting there. It's an interesting read.
