About Lauren Maxwell

I'm an Australian Rehabilitation Counsellor and Women's Career Development Consultant, with a goal of empowering women everywhere to take control of their career and personal development. Having spent the last five years developing strategy-based resources to assist in career redeployment, I recently launched the 'Lazy Girl's Career Guide' series.

So, why did I call it the 'Lazy Girl’s Career Guide'?

While laziness and career success aren’t generally descriptions that go together, there is a common motivation behind them: a desire to reach an end goal in the most efficient way. I've written this workbook series with busy women in mind and I get straight to the point with exercises that guide you step by step to build skills and confidence, helping you take control of your career. Each book provides examples that are easy to relate to, and is written with my usual irreverent tone – you can almost hear me there talking you through the process.
