I have just finished reading "Electric Elizabeth" and I'm doing something I've never done before: writing a review.
"Electric Elizabeth" is original, captivating and moving. I would not consider it as a "paranormal" or "fantasy" novel, as it is categorized here. It is the story Milton, a soul that finds his way into life after a horrific childhood, and who is not quite ready to take the last steps.

As I began it, I couldn't seem to get a grip on it, and as I generally read thrillers, suspense and mystery, where there is action and a forward moving "plot". I felt a bit lost with "Electric Elizabeth". But the fact is, it tangled me in its net without my noticing, I was drawn along by the beautiful language and descriptions and situations, like a boat on a current, until I could barely put it down.
Congratulations Mr. Martinez, you have written an entrancing story, one which will resonate in my memory every time I see a storm.
