Review by: CK Brooks on Sep. 17, 2011 :
I had mixed feelings about this on. At first I though Alex was a man. Then some of her actions were a little questionable. The author needed to brush up on how women and men interact because it was very obvious at first what was going between Alex and the cop. Their 'relationship' wasn't convincing enough to warrant him following her to save the day. I would have liked to have seen more development there. No, I don't mean sex, I mean something other than hostility. But, that said, I enjoyed the read and hope Lise takes some classes and continues her writing.
