It is fun read when visited Jolie and her friends. I have been reading out order and have no trouble understanding the story as there is enough background in each book. JOLIE needing coffee stops by Java Jolt and finds it empty with back door open. Later she sees Joe on the, street and there are a couple of pings. When Jolie stands Joe is on the ground as he has been shot. Not heeding the advice of all she becomes involved. She manages to put herself and friends in danger before she through. The ending surprise me. I recommend this series highly.
