A composite coming together of India, her spirit, her people, her cities, her villages, her water, and her spirituality. A snapshot into various times, spaces, and peoples. Added to this mixture is the travelogue not just physical, but mystical and metaphysical of a man's journey through life. A seeing of the way life unfolds and reveals her magic when one is able to step back and allow for it to happen. All this rendered in an easy to read style, with humour, questions, reflections, and a candid honesty. It is a book that takes the reader on a journey, offering nothing and yet everything!! It is one of those 'must read' books for anyone who wants to enquire about the life itself!!

Dr. Nilakant’s experiences during temple hopping to the holiest temples across India with a Mahan is a treat to read. The book is a conglomeration of his journey on the roads across India, as well as his inner spiritual journey. The summary of Shiv Shankar baba’s philosophy for better living is the new bible of this century. Truly amazing!
