Wow! Didn't want it to end. The pages turn themselves in this sweet coming-of-age family saga set on a sugarcane plantation during the Philippine revolution of 1986. Reminds us of the beauty and power of first loves. Throw in unspoken family secrets, Catholic guilt, and a typhoon, and you couldn't ask for more.
