About Anthony Woodward

I am an Australian Comic artist recently relocated to Canada, I have been drawing comics for around 15 years and in that time I have self published various comics, as well as contributed to anthologies such as Tango and Conceived on a tram, and Dailies. I am also the of the digital comic anthology ‘Chugnut Comics’.

My comics are mostly autobiographical, I am interested in comics with subject matter that deals with real life characters.

I occasionally undertake illustration work as time permits. Get in touch if you have a project in mind. I have previously worked on a range of projects from large to small, such as spot illustrations for magazines as well as larger projects such as a series of illustrated children’s readers.

By day I work as a librarian.

Review by: Gwyn Edwards on Jan. 19, 2015 :
A great story about an unfolding encounter with an artist and the serendipity afforded by the chance offer of shelter from a storm.

The carefully rendered panels of everyday objects and scenes with a restrained blue shading in tandem with the steady pacing of the writing perfectly mirrors the theme of introspection and gradual discovery through being present and observant in the moment.

A real pleasure to read, highly recommended.
