I am a relative newcomer to e-books and Smashwords, and found The Masada Protocol a well-paced, absorbing thriller well suited to the e-book environment. With its mix of action, intrigue, and 'potential' romance, the reader remains absorbed from start to exciting finish.

The Masada Protocol hooks you from the beginning. You're drawn into the high-stakes, high-adrenalin, high-danger world of black ops in a region of fanatical terrorism, the Middle East. That and an insider's view of what really goes on in the world of high finance and how it is intertwined with the murky world of oil keeps you riveted. This book shines with a love of liberty and deepest admiration for those who anonymously defend that freedom. It is highly recommended for all who share those passions.

I was on the edge of my seat and practically read the book in one sitting. It is riveting suspenseful and intriguing. Characters are bright and articulate and the scary thing is this could happen. When is the sequel? And the movie?

The Masada Protocol is a fast paced read akin to Lee Child and Harlan Coben. Excellent research on the Middle East and an interesting premis on the ongoing conflict in that area. Can't wait to read Steve's next adventure.

I'm a great fan of Ted Bess, Alex Berenson, Vince Flynn and the like. The Masada Protocol ranks right up there. Great job Lee and I'm looking forward to your next adventure. I spent 20 years working in the middle east and research of that part of the world is very good.

Good luck and keep up the good work.
