About Victoria Kelly-Clark

Growing up in the small rural community of Maleny in south-east Queensland, Victoria Kelly-Clark was always attracted to the idea of faeries who lived in the beautiful gardens belonging to her grandparents. Together with her grandmother she often went dancing with the fairies under huge fig trees or built forts in lush gardens where her imagination would run free.

She developed a love of mythology, history and politics inspired by her mother. Victoria studied European history and politics as an undergraduate at university and went on to complete a Masters and Doctorate in Political Science, International Relations, specializing in Central Asia and the Middle East.

For a long time she analysed world politics by day, as either a journalist for The Epoch Times or as an analyst, and at night she became a narrator of the many adventures of a family of faeries who live in the amazing world of her backyard for her children. As her children grew older they continually asked for her to share her stories with the wider world. The result of this is The Chronicles of Dandelion and Ash.
