About Albert Davenport

Albert Davenport writes Southern Gothic fiction and non-fiction from his new home at the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home Museum in Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Davenport holds an M.A. in non-fiction writing from Johns Hopkins University.

He has written a non-fiction story detailing the tragic lives of Bob and Tina Stoddard, neighbors of Jim Williams, the main character in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" entitled "Daedalus, a Tale of Savannah". Mr. Davenport recently completed a novel studying one man's struggle with faith and cynicism as he probes his friend's murder. His investigation leads him to a religious cult that reveres the dead man as one of the two witnesses identified in the Book of Revelation. The novel, "Revelation 11," and its sequel, "Continuing Revelation," are forthcoming.
