About Linda Jarosiewicz

Linda Jarosiewicz worked on the circulation desk of a suburban library for several years before leaving to become a fulltime writer and translator. She has written a lot of non-fiction over the years including books in the Time/Life Fix-It-Yourself series. Her credits include the screenplay for the feature film Mothers and Daughters which premiered at the Montréal World Film Festival in 1992, and she was the winner of the 2001 Short Story Contest sponsored by the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec. She currently runs her own translation agency in Montréal, Canada where she lives with her husband.
